Counting & Number Sense

Counting things, matching numerals, and knowing how many without starting over.

My child can say the numbers but can’t tell me how many.

Saying numbers in order and knowing how many are two different skills, and the second one shows up later. If your child counts five blocks and then starts over when you ask how many, that’s normal. These pages work on the second one.
